Following a career in the Metropolitan Police and as a Golf Professional, Austin went on to specialise in Advertising, Marketing and Business Sales Consulting for Price Waterhouse Coopers, Compaq Technologies and Hewlett Packard as well as working in the Predictive Analytics and Treasury Sectors.
In 2013 Austin established A Health & Wellbeing Business in the Business and Corporate Sector, being a natural follow on after 14 years of consulting for some of the Top Tier Global Consulting Businesses.

Austin is now following his passion of Akita Dogs by helping Akita Rescues and Owners, offering Training and Handling for owners to get the best out of their Akita and Large Breed working dog and for those wishing to own these beautiful life companions.

After the loss of Oscar, Austin is now helping Akita Rescue Charities, Owners and Potential Owners adopt Akita Dogs to experience the Amazing Journey the Akita Breed can bring to our lives as companions, and to help owners with training and handling techniques to get the best in Positive Behaviour from their Akita’s and other Large Breed Shepard Dogs.
Austin met Derek and Snowbell when helping the ‘Friends of Akita Trust Rescue’ in an Akita Rescue of Bella. Derek is a very experienced Akita and Dog owner and handler of over 30 years, having owned dogs since a very young age.
Bella and Snowbell were not able to carry on together, so Derek arranged for Bella to move on to another home, which was completed successfully with Austin’s help through the ‘Friends of Akita Trust’.
Derek and Austin are now working together to help owners and prospective owners, rescue and train their Akita Dogs in Positive Behaviour Training & Handling.
